1. Carry out a wide range of seasonal grounds tasks, including mowing, strimming, hedge cutting, irrigation and repair work.
2. Play a key role in preparing and maintaining our equestrian facilities, especially the cross-country course.
3. Support the set-up and smooth delivery of major equestrian events, from jump decoration to spectator areas.
4. Operate and maintain tractors, mowers and other machinery safely and effectively.
5. Work as part of the Grounds and Sports Turf Team to keep our campus safe, attractive, and competition-ready all year round.
About You
6. A passion for practical outdoor work and pride in achieving high standards.
7. Adaptability and good organisation to meet seasonal demands and event deadlines.
8. The ability to work well in a team and independently, using your own initiative.
9. Physical fitness and resilience to carry out manual work in all weather conditions.
10. Previous experience in grounds care (essential).
11. A full UK driving licence (essential).
12. Certificates for machinery such as telehandlers, mini diggers or chainsaws.
13. An understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance.
