EYFS Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)
Monday – Friday | 8:30am – 3:30pm
We are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our lovely school community near Garstang.
This role is full-time, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, starting 23rd February 2026, for a fixed term of 12 months, with the view to transferring onto a school contract.
About the Role
The successful candidate will:
* Provide high-quality support across Pre-School and Reception, working with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage
* Support learning through play and planned activities in line with the EYFS framework
* Work collaboratively as part of a successful and experienced Early Years team
* Support children’s personal, social and emotional development
* Be confident in liaising with parents and carers, contributing positively to strong home–school relationships
* Help create a nurturing, safe and stimulating learning environment

* Has experience working within EYFS (Pre-School or Reception experience desirable)
* Is warm, patient and enthusiastic about early years education
* Communicates confidently and professionally with parents and colleagues

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
