A great opportunity for a Production Engineer to join a high‑performing engineering team, supporting both reactive and planned maintenance while driving improvements across fast‑paced food production lines.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults and minimise downtime.
Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production and site equipment.
Support improvement projects and system upgrades.
Identify ways to improve machinery reliability and efficiency.
Work closely with production teams to optimise performance.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and assist with site‑wide facilities maintenance.Essential Requirements
Multi‑skilled engineer (electrical).
FMCG food production experience.
NVQ Level 3 or engineering apprenticeship.
Strong electrical/mechanical fault‑finding skills.
Experience with food machinery (baggers, weighers, conveyors, robots, etc).
Understanding of line control systems (I/O, sensors, relays, 24V, VFDs, pneumatics).
Strong health & safety focus and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
