Job title: Quality Control (QC) Lead

Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a Quality Control (QC) Lead on behalf of a global CDMO organization.
Role purpose:
Lead the QC team, overseeing the setup, compliance (EHS and Quality) and ongoing operation of the QC laboratory, including:
* QC Lab suitability
* QC Organization
* QC Equipment/Systems
* Analytical Method Transfer and Validation
* QC Quality System
Key accountabilities:
* Set up and maintenance of the QC lab for Raw Material, IPC, Product testing, sample and retain management
* Support qualification of the QC Equipment/Systems and transfer/validation of test methods
* Implement Safe systems of working within the laboratories
* Implement robust business processes and procedures
* Set up short and long term goals, including activity plans for the QC lab and teams
* Active on laboratory workflow optimization/LBMS (Lean)
* Provision of safe working environment through risk management principles
* Maintain laboratory hygiene and housekeeping
* Oversee QC Testing and release
* Oversee applicable sampling and third party laboratory activities
* Responsible for QC internal and external communications
Key requirements:
* Technical experience within GMP QC laboratory environment, including project management, equipment/system/method qualification/validation and tech transfer
* Focus on high quality; good at planning, organizing and communication.
* Empowerment, motivating others and development direction
* Uses knowledge of their business area and related areas to make correct and timely decisions
* Understands how to effectively engage others within project/change processes
* Champions and role models the values of diversity and inclusion through everyday interactions in groups or 1:1s
* Develops budgets and resource plans
