We're looking to add a Project Engineer to our team here at Vipond, for an onsite role, initially Glasgow and Warrington. SALARY: Upto £40K depedant on expereince 31 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays Company vehicle Bonus Company pension (3% employer contribution) Employee Referral Scheme (£500 per hire) Responsibilities: Contributing to project Initiation/handover meetings with all stakeholders including Sales, Design, QS. Production and maintenance of project Programme. Communication with clients throughout the life of a project. Maintenance of central project file records. Attendance at internal project Cost To Complete (CVR) meetings. Completion and submission to relevant stakeholders of all end-of-project documentation e.g. O&M, As-Fitted Drawings, Certification. Knowledge: Working knowledge of engineering drawings. Experience in managing small and large budget projects (£5k to £2m) in the construction industry. Practiced at management/supervision of on-site labour & resources. Hold a current & relevant SMSTS & CSCS Card Holder. Knowledge of CDM Management Principles. Holds a relevant NVQ/NHD/HNC/City & Guilds within Building Services or Mechanical discipline. As a Sprinkler Project Engineer you will support the Project / Site Manager(s) within the Main Contracts (Special Risk division) to deliver fire protection projects on time, to budget and in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements.
