Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist looking to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with complex disabilities?
We’re recruiting for a dedicated OT to join a supportive team focused on maximising quality of life and independence for children and young people across Suffolk.
This is a county-wide role with flexibility on office base and working arrangements. While attendance at team meetings is expected, there is no requirement for regular office-based work.
About the Role:
You’ll carry out high-quality assessments in home environments, identifying needs and recommending solutions through:
* Specialist equipment
* Minor and major adaptations
* Advice and support for families and carers
* You’ll work collaboratively with professionals across health, education, housing, and community equipment services to deliver impactful outcomes.
Requirements:
* HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
* Experience working with Children with Disabilities(Social Care setting desirable)
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage your own caseload
* Excellent communication skills for working with families and professionals
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
