An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented HVAC Engineer to join our team as an HVAC Engineer, working with one of our major UK supermarket clients. As an HVAC Engineer, you will play a vital role in carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple retail stores, ensuring the smooth operation of commercial heating systems and air conditioning units.
Key Responsibilities - HVAC Engineer
* Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across a number of sites
* Servicing and repairing a range of mechanical equipment e.g. boilers, fans, pumps, AHUs, FCUs
* Carrying out minor alterations and installations within technical competence in accordance with current specifications
* Ordering spares to the laid-down procedures
* Identifying non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advising the HVAC supervisor of findings with recommendations regarding suitable replacement
Qualifications & Requirements - HVAC Engineer
* SVQ/NVQ Level 3 within Heating/Ventilation/Mechanical/HVAC or equivalent qualification
* ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications COCN, CIGA, CORT, ICPN, CDGA, TPCP1/1A as a minimum
* Full driving license
* Flexibility to be part of the 24/7 on-call rota every 1:4 weeks
