Our client specializes in manufacturing different Gearing systems in this job you will be responsible for the smooth flow of materials in and out of the unit. Take accountability of the workshop and be the go-to person.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Receiving and booking in of raw material, inspecting it for damages before accepting it and processing delivery notes.
2. Responsible for raising job cards for shop floor and cross-referencing material certificates for compliance in conjunction with Inspection.
3. Ensuring accuracy in all operations relating to materials handling (including servicing shop floor material demands, booking in/out activities).
4. Responsible for material preparations (billet/bar form). Servicing shop floor material demands.
5. Responsible for dealing with general email queries.
6. Ensure the skips are emptied
7. Conduct hardness testing for material conformity from received goods.
8. Responsible for early-stage Sub Con organisation (raw material).
9. Responsible for Stock Control and Bi-Annual Stock Take.
10. Moving parts and supporting expeditor when required
11. Ensure that all logbooks (Forklifts) are completed daily/weekly
12. Coordinates with fellow team members, managers, and directors.
13. Departmental and individual Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Goals and Objectives (G&O) driven.
