IT Support Engineer – Deployment Project (Mobile Role) - ACTIVE SC CLEARANCE REQUIRED

Base:
Bristol (mobile role – own vehicle essential) - expenses paid
Rate:
£18/hour(Inside IR35) via Umb
Contract:
ASAP - end of this year(rolling)
Overview:
We are seeking a
flexible, reliable, and self-motivated IT Support Engineer
to join our expanding mobile deployment team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, is confident travelling independently, and has a strong sense of ownership when delivering technical support across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide onsite desktop and hardware support to multiple clients within the region.
* Carry out hardware break-fix, software installations, and basic troubleshooting (training provided if required).
* Set up, configure, and refresh devices as part of larger deployment and migration projects.
* Act as a point of contact for users during deployment activities, ensuring a professional and supportive approach.
* Accurately document updates in line with project processes.
* Participate in on-call rotas if required (with notice).
What You'll Need:
* Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle
* Active SC Clearance
* Experience in Hardware/Break Fix
* Strong understanding of Microsoft technologies including Windows 7, 10, and 11, plus Office 365
* Previous IT support experience (particularly in desktop support or field services).
* Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
