Mental Health Support Workers - £13.50 per hour

We are looking for reliable, motivated, caring, and compassionate Mental Health Support Workers to join our Learning Disabilities division.
We highly value our staff and ensure that you will have the opportunity to personally progress through exposure to varied settings, individuals, complexity of needs and workplace opportunities, with responsive line managers and support teams that will guide and support you on your journey.
We offer a planned programme of continuous professional development with mandatory training course completion, CPD supervisions, support to obtain the Care Certificate and guaranteed enrolment onto Level 3 apprenticeships in Health and Social Care. These are fully funded and guided by personal tutors and our training department.
We cover Felixstowe, Ipswich, Claydon, Needham Market and Stowmarket and whilst you will be predominantly settled in a certain location and service, we may request that you support at any of our services - this upskills our staff teams significantly, with exposure to varied specialised needs and ensures that best practice, information and knowledge is shared across our organisation.

Objective of Role:
In this role, you will provide vital support to vulnerable adults experiencing mental health challenges, helping them navigate daily life with dignity and independence.
This role is extremely varied depending on the service and service user(s) you are supporting; however, our focus remains consistent - to use a person-centred and innovative approach to support and facilitate the development of new skills and independence to enable our service users to achieve and exceed their life goals and aspirations.
You will provide support to vulnerable individuals, building trust and assisting them with personal care, well-being, challenging behaviour support, crisis intervention, medication support, activities, and all aspects of daily life, supporting them to lead the most fulfilling and rewarding lives possible.
