The Accounts Administrator plays a pivotal role in supporting the financial operations of the organisation, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal procedures and external regulations. This role involves responsibility for processing monthly wages, managing overtime authorisations, and providing vital assistance to the Group Financial Controller across various accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities
Payroll & Wage Processing
* Prepare and process monthly employee wages with precision and timeliness
* Collect, review, and authorise overtime claims in line with company policy
* Maintain payroll records and ensure all employee data is kept confidential and up to date
* Liaise with HR for any changes in employee status affecting wages
Assist The Group Financial Controller With
* Bank account reconciliations
* Ledger reconciliations (accounts payable/receivable, general ledger)
* Posting and reviewing journal entries to ensure financial accuracy
* Support month-end and year-end close processes
* Help identify and resolve reconciliation discrepancies promptly
General Accounts Administration
* Maintain organised records of financial documents and correspondence
* Assist with internal and external audits as required
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity
* Ability to manage deadlines and multitask across varied responsibilities
* Competent in IFS software and Excel
* Good understanding of basic accounting principles and payroll procedures
* Discreet, trustworthy, and professional communication
