This is an exciting opportunity for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced English teachers looking to make a positive impact within a thriving secondary school environment. The role is initially for the remainder of the summer term, with the potential to continue into September for the right candidate.
- Full-time English Teacher position within a mainstream secondary school
- Deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with the national curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student progress
- Work collaboratively with a supportive English department and wider school team
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Be passionate about English and committed to raising student achievement
- Have strong classroom management and communication skills
- Be adaptable, enthusiastic, and motivated to inspire young learners
- ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
