As the Front of House Host/Team Member for La Fiamma Stone Baked Pizza, you are the vital connection between our amazing kitchen and our valued guests. You don't just serve food; you deliver the authentic, memorable La Fiamma experience. We are looking for an energetic, welcoming individual to be the face of our restaurant and ensure every guest's visit is nothing short of amazing.
Core Responsibilities & Duties
The Front of House Host is responsible for managing the guest experience from arrival to departure, including:
* Guest Welcome & Seating: Warmly greet every customer who walks in the door and manage the flow of the dining room by accurately tracking waitlists and seating guests efficiently.
* Menu Expertise: Become a menu expert ready to answer questions about our signature stone-baked pizzas, ingredients, daily specials, and beverage selections.
* Order Management: Accurately take, process, and deliver food and drink orders to tables in a timely and professional manner.
* Payment & Cash Handling: Efficiently manage all payment processes, including cash, credit/debit transactions, and point-of-sale (POS) system operation.
* Customer Service: Address all guest inquiries, requests, and minor concerns with grace, escalating major issues to management as needed.
* Maintain Ambiance: Keep the entrance, dining area, and host station clean, organized, and presentable at all times to maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
* Team Support: Assist the kitchen and back-of-house staff by running food, clearing and resetting tables, and performing light side work during slower periods.

* Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred (But Not Required):
* Previous experience (6+ months) in a restaurant, cafe, or customer service role.
* Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems.
