Admin Team Leader - Halifax
Salary: £14,60ph / £28,470pa
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
We're proud to be partnering with a well‑established business based in Halifax who are looking to appoint an experienced Admin Team Leader to support and develop their growing administrative function. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with proven leadership experience who enjoys driving performance, supporting people, and maintaining high standards of service for both internal teams and external clients.
About the Role
As the Admin Team Leader, you will oversee a team of five administrators, ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day running of the department. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will be the go‑to point of contact for escalations, workflow management, and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Managing rotas
Conducting regular 1‑1s and performance reviews
Motivating, coaching, and training team members
Acting as the main escalation point for client issues
Attending client meetings and contributing to service improvements
Overseeing reporting requirements and ensuring accuracy
Handling invoice queries and liaising with relevant departments
Providing general support across the administrative function as needed
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience leading a team in an administrative or office‑based environment
Strong organisational and communication skills
A supportive leadership style with the ability to motivate others
Confidence in dealing with escalations and resolving issues
High attention to detail and excellent time management
