The Family Support Worker will provide direct support to children, young people, and their families who are experiencing difficulties. The role is focused on empowering families to overcome challenges, develop positive routines, and access the services they need. The post-holder will work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and group support to children, young people, and families in their homes and communities. Carry out assessments to identify strengths, needs, and risks within the family environment. Promote positive parenting practices, family routines, and healthy relationships. Actively contribute to safeguarding processes, ensuring concerns are reported and acted upon in line with legislation and organisational policy. Maintain accurate case notes, reports, and records in a timely manner. Build effective working relationships with partner agencies, including social workers, schools, and health professionals. Attend multi-agency meetings and represent Nini Social Care in a professional manner. Work flexibly, including evenings and weekends where required, to meet the needs of families.
