As a Junior Process Engineer, you will support the safe and efficient running of process systems across a large-scale COMAH site. Working closely with operations, maintenance and engineering teams, this role offers valuable hands-on experience while building technical expertise. Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support to operations, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis
* Monitor plant performance and identify opportunities for optimisation
* Support process design work for plant modifications and projects
* Assist with commissioning activities and planned shutdowns
* Develop project scopes, schedules, and technical documentation
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and engineering standards
* Support performance reporting and forecasting activities
* Assist with maintenance planning and reliability improvements
* Get involved in hydrogen and low-carbon energy developments

The Person
* Degree in Chemical Engineering (2:1 or above)
* 0–3 years' experience (including placements) in a relevant industry
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Confident working within a team environment
* Well organised and keen to build technical knowledge
* Understanding of process engineering principles
* Interest/experience in hydrogen or low-carbon energy is beneficial
