This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced estimator who is confident working with technical data, production teams, and commercial stakeholders.Role OverviewAs an Estimator, you will play a key part in supporting production, engineering, and sales by accurately costing projects, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring quotes are prepared efficiently and professionally.Key Responsibilities Interpret technical, engineering, and fabrication drawings to create accurate cost estimates. Prepare detailed quotations for customers, including production costs and material requirements. Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Sales teams to support project planning and feasibility. Utilise the company ERP system for data input, cost tracking, and job management. Provide solutions that are efficient, cost-effective, and customer-focused. Apply management experience to contribute to workflow planning and team coordination where required.Candidate Requirements Proven experience as an Estimator within sheet metal, fabrication, or a similar engineering environment. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Solution-focused, analytical, and proactive in approach. Experienced in estimating production processes and bill of materials. Confident using an ERP system. Management or supervisory experience essential. Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.Salary & Benefits Salary: Up to £38,000 (negotiable DOE, with salary reviews). 30 days holiday including bank holidays. On-site parking.
