Paraplanner - Sunderland
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Paraplanner to join their growing business based in Sunderland.
The successful candidate will have a good balance of hard work and personality to thrive within this expanding team. You will work closely with the Financial Adviser and the Administration team.
Areas of responsibility:
1. Preparing and maintaining client files:
* Check all compliance paperwork is present.
* Confirm client risk profile is determined.
* Discuss client objectives with the planner.
* Identify and obtain information necessary for financial cashflow forecasts.
* Compile draft net worth statements, income and expenditure statements, and financial cash-flow forecasts, then discuss with the planner.
* Prepare recommendations and identify areas for planning.
1. Research and analysis:
* Undertake research independently and with the Financial Adviser to identify suitable solutions for clients.
* Prepare information and comparisons for planner analysis.
* Coordinate with clients' legal and tax advisers if applicable.
* Consider current and future asset allocation strategies based on client risk profiles.
* Draft recommendation reports for review and approval by the planner.
2. Implementation of recommendations:
* Prepare suitability letters aligned with recommendations.
* Complete application and proposal forms.
* Ensure all compliance paperwork is complete.
* Make investment changes as instructed.
* Implement investment strategies.
3. Review and client communication:
* Act as the main contact for client queries, ensuring effective communication.
* Build strong relationships with clients and attend meetings as needed.
* Organize future planning meetings.
* Review investment portfolios, asset allocations, and risk profiles.
* Send updated planning figures to clients for review before meetings.
* Initiate review meetings with clients.
4. Additional responsibilities:
* Assist in establishing new client relationships.
* Assess clients’ financial circumstances.
* Prepare financial statements supporting financial strategies, using tools like O&M Profiler Analytics.
* Research and analyze suitable products and services.
* Propose and draft financial solutions aligned with client goals.
* Support accurate completion of forms and implement actions as directed.
* Maintain ongoing client relationships and review systems.
* Develop effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.
* Adhere to FCA rules, act ethically, and prioritize clients’ best interests.
