Job Title: Assistant Pathway Administrator
Location: Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Windmill Road, OX3 7LD
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm (37.5 hours per week)

What you’ll be responsible for:
* Provide administrative support to Consultants, Genetic Counsellors and all staff and patients under their care, including correspondence support and other administrative duties as required.
* Sort and prioritise incoming post, ensuring supporting information is available when appropriate and taking responsibility for actioning urgent items in the absence of the Consultant or other clinical staff.
* Support patients under the Clinicians care by booking within the 18 week referral to treatment (RTT) pathway. Ensuring outpatient appointments are attended and follow up appointments are booked within Trust targets
* Maintain accurate and current patient records ensuring letters, clinical reports, diagnostic test results and other notes are uploaded into the correct patient EPR notes and filed within the correct Clinical Genetic case notes.
You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
* Previous administration experience
* Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
* Excellent IT skills including the use of Microsoft Office
* Previous NHS and EPR experience (desirable)
This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.
