The Opportunity
We're working with one of the North West's most recognised businesses who are a key supplier within the construction industry. They now have a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and driven Sales Administrator to join their business. Location: Crewe. Salary: up to £33,000 + benefits.
The Role
The successful candidate will join the business as a Sales Coordinator to support their Business Development team by researching and screening potential clients and opportunities and ensuring the health of the CRM and customer data used by the team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual from a Customer Service, Customer Support, Sales Support, Sales Administrator, Sales Coordinator, Account Manager, Customer Success, Client Relationship or Account Management background with a strong attention to detail and excellent team-working skills.
* Researching, qualifying, and deciding which opportunities make it onto the system
* Identifying high-value opportunities worth pursuing
* Protecting the pipeline by stopping unqualified or low-value leads from progressing
* Passing qualified data to the business development team
* Maintaining Salesforce clean and accurate across early pipeline stages
* Ensuring every deal has activity logged and overdue tasks are chased
* Pushing for complete, accurate data to drive accountability
* Tracking stalled opportunities and acting quickly to keep things moving
* Keeping CRM as the single source of truth for the team
* Attending internal BD meetings, capturing notes, and following up on action points
* Logging meeting outcomes in Salesforce and ensuring timely follow-up communications
The Person
* Experience in a Customer Service, Customer Support, Sales Support, Sales Administrator, Sales Coordinator, Account Manager, Customer Success, Client Relationship or Account Management role
* Excellent communication skills and confidence to proactively push colleagues on activity and data accuracy
* Keen to develop and progress
* A go-getter who is comfortable in a \"making things happen\" role
* Ability to adapt approach to the client
* Computer literate and experience with a CRM like Salesforce
