Overview
NHFT is looking for an experienced clinical pharmacist to lead and support the delivery of a clinical pharmacy service to their community inpatient beds.
Responsibilities
 * Lead, deliver and evaluate clinical pharmacy services to patients within Community Beds
 * Provide a clinical pharmacy service to Community Beds inpatient areas, working with other pharmacists and pharmacy technicians within the team
 * Provide expert advice on pharmaceutical matters, undertake risk management and ensure compliance with medicines legislation and local policy
 * Facilitate and support the efficient and cost-effective use of medicines
 * Work with staff within the Pharmacy department and across the Trust to enable the objectives of the Trust to be achieved
 * Cascade decisions made by the Medicines Management Committee to the members of Community Beds
 * Contribute to the Trust compliance with Controlled Drugs, Pharmacy procedures, Medicines Management standards, Clinical Governance and Risk Management
Qualifications and Experience
 * Experience as a senior clinical pharmacist in a community or inpatient setting
 * Strong knowledge of medicines legislation, local policy and Medicines Management standards
 * Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently within a team
 * Travel independently to other bases across Northamptonshire
