It produces a range of food products for retail and food service markets. The company supplies both branded and own:label items to customers in the UK and internationally. Its operations include product development, manufacturing, and packaging within the food industry.
Salary and Benefits:

Roles and Responsibilities:
* Conduct regular audits of food safety procedures and practices
* Identify and assess potential risks in the production process
* Ensure all food safety procedures are followed as per standards and regulations
* Report and document audit findings
* Recommend improvements to enhance food safety measures
* Stay updated on food safety regulations and industry trends
* Provide training and guidance to staff on food safety practices
* Maintain communication with management on food safety issues
* Prepare and present audit reports and recommendations
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience as a Food Safety Auditor or similar role
* In:depth knowledge of food safety regulations and standards (e.g. HACCP, ISO 22000 etc.)
* Excellent observational and analytical skills
* Strong communication skills
* Detail:oriented with a strong focus on quality
* Certification in food safety auditing is a plus
