Overview
Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Artisan Food Manufacturer) – Dorset, Dorchester
£45,000 to £50,000 per annum; however, may vary depending on experience. Benefits include employee discount on company products, sick pay, life insurance, a 5% company pension, 30 days of holiday per annum, company parking and training on PLCs offered.
Responsibilities
* Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on site and provide support to the production team.
* Identify and eliminate cost-related issues affecting production and value output.
* Follow orders tasked by the engineering team leader on site.
* Utilise basic knowledge of Microsoft Office in daily activities.
* Balance workload with approximately 60/70% electrical tasks and the remaining mechanical work.
Qualifications and Skills
* NVQ3 (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline and appropriate apprenticeships/work experience.
* Strong analytical skills with a specialization in electrical engineering.
* Electrically biased maintenance experience, including preventative and reactive maintenance.
* Local to Dorchester.
The Role Summary
