Turnitin is a global organization with team members in over 35 countries including the United States, Mexico, United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, India, and the Philippines.

Turnitin is seeking to hire a Regional People Partnerships Director to join our Global People Team (must be located in EMEA - willing to work EMEA hours). The People Team enables Turnitin to unleash the full potential of ‘One Team’ and culture which, in turn, enables it to deliver its business strategy and purpose.

The People Team is split into four verticals:

* Global People Partners
* Centers of Excellence (COEs)
* People Services / HR Shared Services (PSS)
* People Strategy & Operations (PS&O)

This role will report to the Senior Director, Global People Partnerships and serve as the People Business Partner within our EMEA Operations and support globally as and when needed. The incumbent will primarily partner with frontline Leadership Team members and their employees and will interact with other teams across the company to provide tactical hands-on support as well as strategic thought leadership related to the entire employee lifecycle, with specific focus on employment law, employee relations, engagement, inclusion, operational efficiency, and effectiveness aligned to Turnitin values. The incumbent will also have extensive knowledge and experience of UK and EMEA employment law across various countries. A depth of experience in employee relations, strong business acumen, the ability to handle ambiguity, and problem-solve with a solutions-based, growth mindset focus.

Primarily, they will:

* Act as a trusted advisor to operational partners and an aligned business partner within the people team to ensure a true one team approach to any people or employee relations related items.
* Develop open and enduring stakeholder relationships with Turnitin people managers to support their people responsibilities as leaders.
* Support the delivery of the People Strategy and link it operationally to business needs, providing personal coaching and guidance/development for managers and their teams.
* Support operational and people team transformational efforts aimed at improving overall efficiency and effectiveness of deliverables and impacted teams.
* Execute on annual and bi-annual plans/OKRs using COE support with the team to ensure continuous improvements are realized in relation to key metrics like Turnover, Retention, Diversity, etc.
* Advise Turnitin Leaders on effective organizational design and development to achieve overall Turnitin operational outcomes.
* Work closely with Stakeholders and the Talent Acquisition Team to forecast talent needs and ensure a pipeline of exceptional talent is flowing into the organization to meet forecasted needs.
* Research best practices from the outside in to mature and sustain key people practices within Turnitin.
* Support and backup the entire GPP people team as needed.
* Be familiar with and highly capable at driving and sustaining change while ensuring processes are documented and automated as applicable, engaging COE and other key partners.
* Translate information into data to support decision-making.
* Be a proactive and accountable communicator ensuring transparent and open flow of information up, down, and sideways.

Qualifications:

* 10+ years of global HR experience in a multicultural environment managing multiple countries within the region, including remote workers, with experience in HR COEs and generalist functions.
* Extensive employee relations experience across multiple countries.
* Experience in a SaaS organization or other technology industry preferred.
* Ability to think strategically and act tactically, owning tactical people processes daily while driving the big picture.
* Flexibility to work hours aligned with the broader team and willingness to travel within the client group and for business purposes.
* Strong problem-solving skills with a solutions-based approach.
* Ability to work independently and be highly accountable.
* Operational knowledge of relevant HR/employment law regulations in the region.
* Technological proficiency with HRIS, ATS, Employee Engagement platforms, Google Suite, and Apple products.
* Data literacy and willingness to learn data-driven decision-making.
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills, especially with C-suite audiences.
* Skills in negotiations, project management, process improvement, conflict management, and change management.
* Undergraduate degree in Human Resources Management or relevant experience.
* SHRM / CIPD or equivalent membership.

Preferred but not required:

* Experience with Google Suite, BambooHR.
* Masters in HRM or Ph.D. in Industrial Organizational Psychology.
