Senior Public Health Practitioner - Housing Needs

This is a temporary post until the end of March 2026, with the possibility of extension subject to external funding. We welcome secondments from local housing authorities and related services.
Join our dynamic, vibrant, and friendly team working on high-profile programmes to deliver effective services addressing health inequalities related to housing and substance use.
Lancashire County Council's Public Health & Wellbeing Team seeks experienced Senior Public Health/Housing Practitioners (G10) to join us. We aim to improve community health and reduce inequalities through innovative programmes.
The role involves leading a project researching housing needs of substance users with multiple disadvantages, coordinating with external housing consultants, and supporting the wider substance use team.
Experience in housing and support, managing health projects, and stakeholder collaboration are essential. Experience in public health and commissioning is advantageous but transferable skills are also welcome.
