THE ROLE
We're looking for an experienced Senior Producer to lead the production of creative advertising materials for the entertainment industry. You will produce marketing materials that are talked about, shared and ultimately add value for our clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Be the life force that brings the energy, knowledge and passion to every project.
Project Management
* From conception through to delivery, coordinate and lead multi-disciplinary teams on all types of projects including B2C trailers and B2B promos through to high volume social campaigns including muti-territory audio and visual localisation.
* Be the point person for all client communications through the life of every project.
* Financial management of projects from estimate to regular monitoring to invoicing.
* Ensure projects are tracked, issues mitigated and clients and internal teams are updated.
* Have a strong understanding of every discipline to accurately estimate time needed for scheduling.
* Fully scope creative briefs and understand how to elevate every aspect.
* Be a master of internal workflows and best practices throughout the life of every project.
* Routinely use your thorough knowledge of creative and technical workflows, specifications and formats as well as cue licensing (library & commercial), broadcast trafficking & digital delivery and censorship (TV, radio cinema and social).
* Inspire and mentor junior members of the production team in all areas of project management.
Creative
* Accurately brief and manage editors, writers, music supervisors, designers and finishers in order to produce outstanding creative within budget and to deadline.
* Use your discerning taste to elevate through your understanding of story, emotion and structure and application of music & sound design, motion graphics and copywriting.
* Be a champion of the ABC - art for advertising, beauty for business and creativity for commerce so that decision making is in the service of creating with purpose.
* Be highly literate in all areas of the creative disciplines to incisively brief and feedback.
* Have a strong knowledge of creative software including Avid, Adobe Suite, Disco, Sound Miner and ProTools to understand what’s possible on any given project.
* Have a strong network of industry-best freelance suppliers to give us scale and specialism.
* Produce creative pitch decks with particular focus on strong copywriting and visual examples to ensure the creative concepts are perfectly pitched.
* Inspire and mentor junior members of the production team in all areas of creative production..
Commercial
* Proactively identify business opportunities and establish relationships with new clients.
* Nurture the relationships with your clients in order to achieve regular collaborations.
* Keep up to date with trade news and have a keen awareness of significant industry dates such as clients’ slates, film festivals, launches, and industry awards.
* Inspire and mentor junior members of the production team in all areas of commercial production.
QUALIFICATIONS
* 7+ years of creative producing experience in an agency, production company, studio or broadcaster.
* Examples of short-form advertising work you’ve produced across all forms and platforms.
* Have the rare ability to be highly organised, supremely creative and commercially savvy.
* Demonstrate first class communication skills with both clients and internal teams at all levels for both regular communications as well as meetings and presentations.
* Meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
* Ability to prioritise and allocate tasks to meet varying demands and deadlines.
* Thrive under pressure, approaching situations in a calm and logical manner.
* Resilience and determination to get things done no matter what.
* Experience in inspiring and motivating teams to make 1 + 1 + 1 = 8.
* A team playing attitude but with a singular determination to have a successful career.
* Have industry work you’ve seen that you can passionately talk about.
* A love of film and series.
