Our Head Office team plays a vital role in ensuring our nurseries deliver exceptional care, learning, and support to children, families, and staff.
We are seeking an Office Administrator to join our Head Office team and play a key role in supporting the smooth running of Kiddie Capers Childcare. This is a varied and rewarding position where no two days are the same, offering the chance to work closely with our Senior Leadership Team and support our nurseries in delivering an excellent service. We are looking for someone who is detail-focused, adaptable, proactive, and a strong communicator. A tech-savvy mindset or an Early Years qualification would be a bonus, but above all we are looking for a team player who enjoys keeping things organised and running efficiently.
Responsibilities:
* Provide administrative support to the Office & Administration Manager, Senior Leadership Team and Directors at Head Office with a range of tasks
* To provide a first line cover for phones at Head Office, ensuring that phone calls are put through to the relevant teams
* Monitor generic mailboxes and ensure timely response and/or forwarded (where appropriate) and filed correctly
* Manage post at Kiddie Capers Childcare Head Office
* Be responsible for ordering the correct number of hot meals (taking into consideration all necessary dietary requirements) and milk for all nursery settings
* Support the Office & Administration Manager with monitoring spend across the business, ensuring that records are kept up to date and receipts are available
* Create invoices, monitor payments and administrate late penalties where required
* Support with the administration of payroll, ensuring impeccable attention to detail
* Ensure policies and procedures are up to date and are filed correctly
* Support with admissions enquiries and related administration (including funding) as and when required
* Provide support to our nursery settings as and when required
Requirements
Essential:

Desirable:
* Comfortable troubleshooting basic technical issues and supporting colleagues when needed
* Early Years qualification (Level 2 or 3)
Hours & Salary
25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:30-14:30 (will variation of these hours)
£28,000 per annum (FTE) – pro rata for part time hours
