Entry Criteria for a Specialty Doctor:
A doctor appointed to this grade:
shall have full registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council (GMC);And
1. shall have completed at least four years’ full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a less than full-time or flexible basis) at least two of which will be in a specialty training programme or specialty registrar locum appointment for training (LAT);
Or
2. shall have equivalent training, experience or competencies, either in the UK or overseas.

This is a replacement post for a specialty doctor working within the diabetes service at
. This post is integral to ensuring continuity of care for patients with Diabetes in. It is a permanent post – commencement date to be mutually agreed.
The post is for 1.5 sessions covering 1 clinic and associated administration/SPA time. The post holder will participate in the Friday morning diabetes clinic at St John’s Hospital in OPD1. This post has 1.33 PA’s for DCC and 0.17 PA for SPA
Interested candidates must be registered with the GMC. This is an exposure prone post.
