Hours: Wednesday and Thursday 9pm - 8am
Pay: £14.02 per hour, rising to £15.21 following successful settling in period
Miners Court is Coastline's extra care living facility in Redruth, providing an integrated care and support service that promotes independence for all our customers.
As an Extra Care & Support Assistant you will work with our customers to flexibly to meet their individual needs, in accordance with their care and support plans.
What we're looking for:
* You will be a kind, caring person who is understanding and patient.
* You will have a positive, can-do attitude and be willing to get stuck in with any challenge.
* You will be a fantastic listener and have excellent communication skills.
* You will possess or be willing to work towards a level 2/3 in Health & Social Care. You will be able to remain calm under pressure and in an emergency, with the ability to act decisively.
* Ideally you will have experience in the care and support sector, but full training will be provided.
* A satisfactory enhanced DBS check is required
