Finance Analyst
North Bristol | Hybrid Working (3 days office-based)
A high-growth Bristol-based business is looking to appoint a recently qualified Accountant into a broad and commercially focused Finance Analyst role. Having scaled successfully through a bootstrapped growth journey, the business is now entering its next phase of expansion and is likely to seek external investment in the near future. This is an opportunity to step beyond traditional reporting into a role with genuine exposure across FP&A, commercial pricing, strategic analysis and M&A activity - working closely with senior leadership in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
The Role
* Financial planning & analysis
* Commercial and pricing analysis
* Budgeting and forecasting
* Business performance reporting
* Supporting strategic projects and potential investment activity
* Exposure to M&A evaluation and modelling
* Scenario analysis and decision support
* Working closely with operational and commercial stakeholders
* Helping improve processes, insight and reporting capability as the business scales
What They’re Looking For
* Recently qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA
* Likely trained within Practice, Transaction Services, Audit, Deals or a commercial finance environment
* Strong analytical and modelling capability
* Commercial curiosity and willingness to work broadly across finance
* Someone who enjoys pace, change and visibility
* Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders outside finance
