Pivot Onsite Innovations has an immediate need for an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse (RN) at our client’s construction site in Morrisville, PA. This position offers an opportunity to work at a dynamic worksite and make an impact on employee health, wellness, and safety!
Looking for a PRN to cover every Saturday from 6AM to 3:30PM!
Position Description :
The OHN / Registered Nurse coordinates healthcare for employees in the onsite clinic, oversees evaluation and case management of workplace injuries, and ensures compliance with medical surveillance programs. The RN relays information to employees and key stakeholders regarding workplace safety and injury prevention, and maintains compliance with health-related OSHA mandates.
Position Responsibilities :
Clinical
* Treatment of acute occupational injuries
* Perform drug tests, hearing tests, pulmonary function, and fit tests
* Respond to medical emergencies and facilitate ongoing health and wellness screenings
* Manage workman's compensation claims in conjunction with employer and insurance carrier
* Facilitate return-to-work and light-duty assignments for injured employees
* Maintain a case log for workplace injuries with treatment plans for weekly review
* Ensure compliance with OSHA programs such as hearing conservation, bloodborne pathogen training, and drug screening
* Maintain healthcare unit inventory of medications and supplies
* Assist with administration of Non-Occupational Disability Program
* Manage clinic operations with a positive attitude
* Other duties as assigned
Administrative
* Maintain employee health records and charts
* Prepare and supervise clinic interactions with overseeing physicians
* Manage workers' compensation claims
* Maintain and update OSHA logs monthly
Position Requirements :
* 5+ years nursing experience
* 2+ years Occupational Health experience
* Certification to perform DOT urine drug & alcohol screens (a plus)
* Certification as an Occupational Hearing Conservationist (a plus)
* CPR / AED / First Aid certification
* Valid State Nursing License
* Effective communication skills across all organizational levels
* Strong administrative and management skills
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality
* Experience developing health and wellness programs and ergonomic assessments
* Knowledge of workers' compensation regulations
* Understanding of HIPAA, ADA, FMLA, and OSHA regulations
* Familiarity with manufacturing and production practices
* Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reports and presentations
