Community Engagement and Insight Co-ordinator
The role
Our Systems Change team works to address the root causes of poverty and inequalities through enabling collaboration, campaigning, voice, and influence.
Within this team, the role will lead on strengthening our approach to gathering and using community insight and data to inform our work and influence strategic decision-making. The focus is on influencing change through community-led data and insight, particularly around health inequalities.
The role includes leading a project to influence NHS GM decision-making by capturing, analysing, and sharing community insight. This involves facilitating a network of community organisations passionate about influencing change and managing specific engagement projects.
You will work with our members to support them in addressing health inequalities, making community data accessible, and helping groups turn ideas into action through methods like co-design workshops and participatory grantmaking.
Additionally, you will develop systems to capture data and insight across Action Together’s activities, analysing and reporting to ensure community insight results in tangible change.
The ideal candidate will be someone who…
* Brings together analytical, strategic, creative, and relational talents.
* Works flexibly and creatively, confident in analysing data and facilitating communities to implement ideas.
* Makes sense of complex information, analyses data, and communicates it accessibly to generate learning and action.
* Is driven by social justice and committed to addressing health inequalities and systemic issues.
* Is rooted in the community and understands the Voluntary, Community, Faith, and Social Enterprise Sector.
* Is a networker capable of building strong, trusting relationships.
* Is an excellent communicator, effective in producing reports and presentations for diverse audiences.
