Are you passionate about supporting children in their learning journey? Teaching Personnel is looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to work as Teaching Assistants across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools in Blackpool, Wyre, and Fylde from September 2026.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in the classroom, supporting teachers and helping pupils to reach their full potential. Duties may include:
* Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or group basis
* Assisting with classroom activities and lesson delivery
* Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Supporting children with additional needs where required
* Encouraging engagement, confidence, and progress
Who We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from individuals who:
* Have a genuine interest in working with children
* Demonstrate patience, positivity, and strong communication skills
* Can build strong relationships with pupils and staff
* Are reliable, proactive, and adaptable
Previous experience is beneficial but not essential. If you’re new to education but committed to a career in schools, Teaching Personnel can support you in completing a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification alongside your work.
