This is a Night Senior Care Assistant role at Waterloo Care Home in Wimborne, Dorset. Main duties of the job
As a Night Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring that residents receive the personal care they need, including bathing, dressing, and oral care, while promoting their right to choice and independence. What is required from you?
* A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
* Shift patten from 8pm to 8am to include alternative weekends
* Qualified to at least NVQ Level 2, and achieved or working towards NVQ level 3 (or equivalent)
* At least two years' experience working in a social care environment - preferably with vulnerable people over 65
* Good demonstrable knowledge and experience of dementia
* Excellent communication skills and a real ability to show empathy to people under your car
