Our Remote Operations Centre (ROC) The ROC is front and centre of our vision of delivering scalable value to our customers. We are remotely connected to over 1,700 locations across Europe and remotely manage and control hundreds of thousands of building assets across the private and public sectors. Located in Strathclyde Business Park, Bellshill, Lanarkshire – our state-of-the-art ROC boasts easy to access transportation links, various local amenities and benefits from free car parking on site. The Role As a ROC Engineer, you will be responsible for the delivery of cutting-edge remote services from our Remote Operations Centre. Your tasks will include monitoring building management systems and their connected assets, identifying and troubleshooting issues, coordinating with various supply chains, and ensuring the smooth operation and energy efficiency of our clients' buildings. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to optimise building performance and provide exceptional customer service. Desired Qualifications Proven experience in building operations, facilities management or IT networking Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, building automation, and energy management Proficiency in using building management systems (BMS) Relevant HNC or HND engineering qualification Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Provide technical leadership and manage project teams to achieve objectives Manage and develop existing team members Training At learnd, we believe in empowering our staff to excel in everything they do - this is what differentiates us from the competition - our people!
