The Role:
Staffline Ireland is seeking a Shunter to join our client, a well-established dairy manufacturer, on a long-term temporary basis at their site in Newtownards.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. Shunting vehicles in a busy yard
2. Operating a counterbalance forklift
3. Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards on site
Essential Criteria:
4. Previous shunting experience in a fast-paced yard
5. Shunting licence or equivalent (Class 1 licence)
6. A valid counterbalance forklift licence
7. Ability to work overtime when required
Hours of Work:
8. Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 17:00
9. Friday: 07:30 - 14:30
Pay Rates & Overtime:
10. £ per hour
11. £ per hour after 37 hours worked (standard week is hours)
12. Enhanced rates for evening and weekend overtime
