Job Description Head of Business – Volume Automotive Brands About the Company Our client is a well-established and respected name in the automotive retail industry, representing a portfolio of modern volume brands in a high-profile location. With a solid reputation as a stable and forward-thinking employer, they are now seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Business / General Manager to lead one of their flagship sites. The Opportunity This is a unique opportunity to spearhead the strategic growth of a multi-brand dealership, overseeing both new and used car operations. As the Head of Business, you will play a key leadership role in driving performance, enhancing customer experience, and fostering a high-performing team culture. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a divisional site representing 2–3 modern automotive brands. Drive overall business strategy to achieve sales, profitability, and market share goals. Champion customer excellence and ensure an exceptional experience across all touchpoints. Inspire, develop, and empower a team of passionate automotive professionals. Act as a brand ambassador and establish strong relationships within the local community. Maintain full ownership of the site’s P&L and ensure commercial effectiveness within a PLC environment. About You We are looking for a visionary leader who embodies a modern, customer-centric mindset and thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. You will be: A proven leader within the volume automotive sector, with a strong track record of inspiring teams and delivering results. Customer-obsessed, hands-on, and dedicated to creating standout customer experiences. Commercially savvy, with entrepreneurial flair and sound financial acumen. Digitally fluent, with a keen understanding of evolving consumer behaviour, technology trends, and social media engagement. An excellent communicator, skilled in influencing and building relationships at all levels. Driven and competitive, with a strong work ethic and a relentless focus on success. Remuneration & Benefits Basic Salary: Up to £70,000 On-Target Earnings (OTE): £100,000 (including performance-related bonus)
