Job Description
Work with a family-run business with experienced and compassionate staff who are committed to quality care and support.
Your role will include:
* You will be responsible to the Senior Carer/Care Coordinator and through her/him to the Home Care Manager.
* To be reliable, punctual, and conscientious in visiting Service Users in their own homes and providing a range of services, which will require you to work flexibly and unsocial hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
* To abide by and uphold the Company’s ethics regarding equal opportunities and Service User choice.
* Establish a supportive relationship with the Service User and their carers.
* Maintain professional boundaries at all times.
* Attend Staff Meetings.
* Report to your line Manager any concerns related to Service Users, Health & Safety.
* Assist Senior Carer/Care Coordinators and the Home Care Manager in completing and updating Care Plans.
* Abide by legislative duties regarding Quality and Safeguarding.
* Bring to the attention of your line manager any concerns relating to Service Users, yourself, or other staff members.
* Comply with all Company policies and procedures, especially regarding Health & Safety and the no lifting policy.
* Undertake training to meet legislative requirements.
* Complete the Company’s administration procedures and report writing accurately and promptly.
* Follow the Company’s dress code, including wearing the uniform and ID badge.
* Cover for colleagues during holidays or sickness.
* Work responsibly in isolated situations with Service Users and report any health, safety, hazards, or risks to your line manager.
* Perform any other relevant tasks as designated by the Company.

Training:
Paragon Skills is a leading national apprenticeship provider supporting over 4,000 learners and 1,500 organizations. It has an Ofsted Grade 2 rating and a success rate of 71.4%, above the national average. Learners are assigned a Personal Tutor for regular support, and 20% of working hours are dedicated to study.
Upon completing this 12-month apprenticeship, you will earn an Adult Care Worker – Level 2 Apprenticeship.
