Mytum & Selby Waste Recycling Ltd is an established, family-ran waste management company that has traded for over 35years. Supplying containers and recycling services for both hazardous and non hazardous waste streams for large industrial clients.
Main purpose of the role
Maintain an up to date knowledge of legislation and codes of practice applicable to the company's business.
Competence & Technical Knowledge of managing Hazardous and non Hazardous waste streams
WM3 assessments
Completing Hazardous Waste Consignment Notes
Arranging and co-ordinating hazardous waste inputs and outputs and arranging sub contractors/suppliers
Manage hazardous waste area with site staff
Developing & maintaining commercial relationship with hazardous waste outlets, subcontractors & suppliers
Ability to attend customer sites to audit and evaluate waste streams
Knowledgeable of Quarterly waste returns and site Audits
Where required in consultation with senior manager, liaise with relevant enforcing authorities
Prepare hazardous waste quotes for customers
REQUIREMENTS
COTC Level 4 Hazardous waste (transfer or Treatment )
WM3 training - preferred
Ability to Manage meetings
Excellent ability to communicate verbally and in writing
computer literacy - Microsoft office- outlook, word, excel, power point and teams
