You’ll be joining a supportive and energetic team based at our Eastgate Campus, where you’ll have the opportunity to contribute fresh ideas and help bring the College’s brand to life. This is a one-year fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, offering you the chance to make a real impact in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. In this role, you’ll support the planning and delivery of imaginative marketing campaigns that align with the College’s corporate and stakeholder engagement objectives. You’ll produce high-quality materials that tell the College’s story and capture its values, while managing engaging digital content across websites and social media channels. Your creative input will help ensure every post, video and article speaks directly to our students, staff, employers and the wider community. You’ll also play an active part in coordinating a variety of college events and promotional activities, from open evenings to large-scale exhibitions. Working closely with internal teams and partner organisations, you’ll ensure every event runs smoothly and leaves a lasting impression. You’ll monitor performance, evaluate outcomes and bring forward new ideas to keep the College’s marketing activities fresh and effective. In addition, you’ll support the College’s media relations by drafting press releases, monitoring coverage and helping to shape the College’s public profile. Strong writing and attention to detail will be essential, as you’ll contribute to a wide range of materials including internal communications, reports and digital publications. About You For this role, we’re looking for someone with at least two years’ experience in marketing or communications, and who enjoys working on a variety of projects in a fast-paced environment. You’ll need to balance creativity with organisation — producing engaging content one moment and coordinating an event or campaign the next. You should have experience of organising events and running marketing campaigns, as well as writing for a variety of audiences. You’ll be confident using social media and digital tools to manage content, monitor engagement and analyse results. You’ll also be able to work independently when required, while contributing effectively as part of a team, showing self-motivation and the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines. Strong communication skills, combined with a confident, persuasive and approachable manner, will allow you to build positive working relationships with colleagues, students and external partners. You’ll be enthusiastic and flexible, able to adapt to changing priorities and willing to work evenings or weekends as required.
