HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver - Wakefield
About the Role:
As a Class 2 HIAB Driver, you'll be responsible for delivering building materials to various commercial and residential sites using brick grab
Key duties include:
* Conducting daily vehicle and equipment checks
* Loading/unloading materials using a HIAB (Brick Grab)
* Ensuring loads are secure and paperwork is completed accurately
* Providing a friendly and professional service to customers
* Complying with driving laws and safety regulations at all times
This is a hands-on role suited for someone with good communication skills and a strong safety mindset.
Requirements:
* Full UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence
* HIAB Certificate - Brick Grab experience preferred
* Minimum 2 years’ Class 2 driving experience
* No more than 6 points on licence - no DD, DR, IN convictions
* Good understanding of driver hours and WTD regulations
