We are pleased to be working with an excellent company who are looking for an accounts assistant (strong sales ledger) to join the finance function on a full-time permanent basis. This role reports into the finance manager and will support other departments who report into finance.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
* Creating and sending invoices to customers on schedule.
* Recording customer payments and ensuring they are applied to the correct accounts.
* Following up on outstanding payments from customers.
* Setting up new client accounts and keeping them updated with accurate information.
* Banking and reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy.
* Handling customer queries about invoices, payments, and account balances.
* Assisting with month-end and year-end financial processes by providing accurate data and reports.
