We are seeking an experienced
Lead Hygiene Operative
to support our night hygiene operations within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role where you will carry out nightly cleaning duties while supporting the Hygiene Team Leader in coordinating the team, maintaining standards, and ensuring safe, compliant practices across the shift.

Shift times: 21:00 to 05:30, Panama Shift Pattern.
Key Responsibilities
* Support and guide the hygiene team during nightly cleaning.
* Ensure machinery and production areas are cleaned to required standards.
* Safely dismantle, clean, and reassemble equipment.
* Promote and enforce H&S and chemical safety procedures.
* Complete cleaning records and daily documentation accurately.
* Report hygiene, food safety, or equipment concerns promptly.
* Provide leadership cover when required.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
* Proven experience as a Hygiene Operative within a food manufacturing or factory environment.
* Strong understanding of cleaning processes, chemical safety, and equipment dismantling/assembly.
* Confident communicator with the ability to direct and support colleagues.
* Organised, proactive, and able to take ownership of tasks.
* Comfortable stepping into leadership cover when required.
* Hands-on approach and willing to work alongside the team.
* Detail-oriented with a commitment to high hygiene standards.
* Calm, reliable, and safety-focused under pressure.
* Takes pride in setting the standard for others.
