🌟 The Role
We're looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who can:
Deliver individualised 1:1 and small-group support for students with additional needs, including SEMH.
Assist in the delivery of engaging, differentiated lessons alongside the class teacher.
Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being through encouragement and consistent support strategies.
Work collaboratively with teachers, pastoral teams, and families to ensure continuity in support and progress tracking.
Encourage students to develop confidence, independence, and resilience in their learning.✅ About You
The ideal candidate will:
Have previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN and/or SEMH needs (in school, care, or youth settings).
Bring a calm, patient, and proactive approach to supporting behaviour and learning.
Be an excellent communicator and team player, able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
Have a sound understanding of SEN and SEMH support strategies, adapting to individual needs as required.
Hold relevant qualifications in education, support, or care (desirable but not essential).
To be eligible you must:
Right to work in the UK.
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
Two professional references (preferably from child-related roles).
