Role Customer Experience Assistant - Box Office (2 Positions Available) Hours Casual / Contracted 8.15 hours per week Closing Date Friday 1 May Interviews Early May ​ We're looking for two enthusiastic and friendly Customer Experience Assistants (Box Office) to join our team, providing legendary customer experience across all three of our city-centre venues: His Majesty's Theatre, Music Hall and the Lemon Tree. ​ You will have strong communication skills, great attention to detail, will be great with people and be able to work independently and on your own initiative under pressure, while always having the customer at the heart of everything you do. Previous experience dealing with the general public is essential and experience of a sales environment and/or reception is desirable. We need you to have excellent IT and written skills, as you will sell tickets in person and on the phone using our ticketing/CRM system, and you'll respond to customer enquiries by email and social media channels. You'll also carry out a reception service for our venues, greeting visitors and callers with a warm Aberdeen Performing Arts welcome. ​ You will bring confidence, resilience, flexibility, be a great communicator, be calm under pressure and have demonstrable experience and understanding of customer service. Numeracy and literacy skills are important and a methodical and organised way of working is required, together with an enthusiasm for working as part of a team, including willingness to undertake health and safety related tasks such as fire marshal and first aid. ​ Role x 2 : Contracted role (x1): This is a permanent, salaried position working 8.15 hours per week. You will be scheduled every Saturday. There will also be the opportunity to pick up additional shifts when available. Casual role (x1): We are looking for strong weekend and evening availability.
