About the role
As a Supply Chain Degree Apprentice at Siemens Healthineers Magnet Technology in Oxfordshire, you will work within our Supply Chain & Logistics team supporting the manufacturing of MRI systems. The apprenticeship begins in September 2026 and spans four years, during which you will work towards a fully funded BSc in Supply Chain Management (Professional Practice) in partnership with Aston University.
What you’ll be studying
Modules include:
* Logistics and operations management
* Project and change management
* Supply chain analytics
* Finance and commercial awareness
* Technology, innovation, and digital tools in supply chains
Studies are integrated with workplace learning and dedicated study time built into the work week.
What you’ll be doing (as your experience grows)
* Helping ensure the right materials are available for production
* Managing stock levels within your area of responsibility, balancing availability, cost, and space
* Working with suppliers to track deliveries and resolve issues
* Taking part in team meetings and cross‑functional projects
* Using digital tools and data to support improvements
* Supporting change activity, such as new product introductions
Who we’re looking for
This role is ideal for someone who is curious, organised, and keen to learn.
* Three A‑Levels at grade CCC or above, or equivalent (e.g., BTEC)
* GCSE Maths and English at grade 4/C or above
* A positive approach to learning and trying new things
* An interest in how businesses, logistics, and supply chains work
* The ability to work well with others and communicate clearly
No previous supply chain experience is required – we’ll support you every step of the way.
You must also have eligibility to work in the UK for the duration of the four‑year Apprenticeship and meet the Department for Education and Skills funding rules, including residency criteria.
