The Company
EMBS Engineering is in partnership with a leading precision engineering company based in Leicestershire. Our client is a specialist in the manufacture of high-quality machined components, supplying to demanding industries that require the highest standards of accuracy and quality.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
* Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce quality parts as per specifications
* Interpret technical drawings and conduct precision measurements to ensure accuracy
* Perform necessary adjustments to machine settings to optimise production efficiency
* Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance
* Collaborate with the engineering team for continuous improvement of manufacturing processes
* Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment
* Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
* Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work completed
Successful Applicants MUST Be Able to Demonstrate
* Proven experience as a CNC Miller or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in CNC milling operations
* Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
* Experience with precision measuring instruments
* Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
* Experience with CAD/CAM systems is advantageous
* Familiarity with quality control processes and standards
* Previous experience in a precision engineering environment is an asset
