We are searching for an experienced Restructuring Delivery Associate. Consulting brings together multiple teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to provide client-centric solutions for RSM’s current and future clients within the middle market. Our Consulting team has a major role in driving forward the growth of the firm with over 1,700 people delivering almost £200m revenue.

About the Team
* The Restructuring Delivery Team (“RDT”) is part of the Core Restructuring Advisory Team and the wider Transactions service line.
* The RDT is a new national virtual team managing all insolvency appointment day-to-day responsibilities taken on by RSM.
* The team comprises members based across the country, including students, junior staff, and experienced staff providing guidance, training, and support.
* The RDT supports the practice in delivering high-quality, compliant insolvency processes, and in complex cases, suggesting solutions to ensure the best outcomes for stakeholders.
Overall Job Purpose
An exciting opportunity to work within the newly created RDT, contributing to its future development and success. Corporate insolvency experience is essential, with a focus on training and developing junior team members. The team is divided into ‘seats,’ each covering specific areas of insolvency such as investigations or closure.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical, analytical, and report-writing skills, along with interpersonal skills and a passion for training and development.
The role involves collaboration across the country within RDT and the wider Restructuring Advisory team. Effective communication is key. The role does not typically involve attending marketing events, but support for marketing and business objectives is welcomed if desired.
The team structure allows for predictable workflow and a good work/life balance.
Responsibilities
* Assist in delivering processes for each seat according to standard procedures and compliance standards.
* Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure timely task completion.
* Develop internal relationships to support RDT objectives.
* Manage, train, coach, delegate, and supervise graduate and school leaver staff.
* Provide on-the-job training.
* Communicate regularly with the RDT Lead on objectives, performance, and capacity.
* Conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance and case progression.
* Meet statutory deadlines for corporate cases.
* Identify and address risk issues promptly.
* Complete timesheets and billing within deadlines.
* Stay updated on insolvency legislation.
* Attend staff meetings and training.
* Perform any other duties within the scope of the role as requested.
Personal and Professional Qualities
The role requires:
Qualifications:
* CPI qualification is beneficial but not mandatory.
Experience/Attributes:
* 3-4 years’ experience in Restructuring Advisory and/or Insolvency, ideally at Assistant Manager level.
* Proficient with case management systems like IPS.
* Decision-making and effective communication skills.
* Strong insolvency technical knowledge.
* Good time management skills.
* Strong communication skills.
* Commitment to high-quality delivery within deadlines.
* Desire to develop and train junior team members.
