The Role
We are looking for a motivated and relationship-focused Buyer Relations Manager to join our expanding team at Private Luxury Events (PLE). Reporting to the Head of Buyer Relations and working closely with the Senior Buyer Relations Manager, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with senior travel advisors and decision-makers within the global luxury travel and hospitality industry.
This is a dynamic, hands-on role that combines commercial acumen with genuine relationship-building. You will be responsible for identifying, approaching, and securing high-quality buyers for our prestigious portfolio of events, including Ultra, Private Luxury, TFest, Amour, and our new flagship luxury event designed to engage the next generation of travel leaders.
As a Buyer Relations Manager, you'll manage the full recruitment process, from prospecting and pitching through to confirmed attendance and post-event engagement, ensuring every buyer interaction reflects the quality and prestige of the PLE brand. You'll also contribute fresh ideas and feedback to continuously refine our approach, helping to strengthen our global buyer community and enhance event impact. Key Responsibilities
Buyer Recruitment and Engagement
* Deliver effective buyer recruitment campaigns for PLE events, achieving and exceeding monthly and annual targets.
* Identify, approach, and secure high-quality travel advisors and senior decision-makers from across the luxury travel industry.
* Manage the complete recruitment cycle, from prospecting and pitching through to confirmed participation and post-event relationship management.
Relationship Development
* Build and maintain long-term, meaningful relationships with buyers to ensure strong engagement and loyalty.
* Develop a deep understanding of buyers' business needs to match them with relevant event opportunities.
* Represent Private Luxury Events at trade shows, networking functions, and hosted buyer programmes, promoting our values of innovation and excellence.
Collaboration and Strategy Support
* Work closely with the Senior Buyer Relations Manager and Head of Buyer Relations to deliver strategic recruitment campaigns.
* Provide feedback and insights on market trends, buyer sentiment, and competitor activity to support continuous improvement.
* Contribute creative ideas for enhancing buyer engagement, communication, and event experiences.
Operational Delivery and Reporting
* Ensure accurate and timely tracking of recruitment activity within the CRM system.
* Assist in preparing reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates for senior management.
* Support on-site event delivery, ensuring buyers have a seamless and high-value experience.

To excel in this role, you should bring:
* Proven experience in business development, buyer relations, or account management, ideally within the luxury travel, hospitality, or events sector.
* A track record of achieving or exceeding sales or recruitment targets.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
* A confident, professional, and engaging manner, both in person and online.
* A team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently when needed.
* A passion for travel, global culture, and building relationships.
* Willingness to travel internationally for events and client meetings.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
* Proficiency in Salesforce and Airtable, or similar CRM and cloud collaboration tools.
* Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
* Experience with virtual and hybrid events, utilizing event technology platforms.
* Proficiency in additional languages beyond English.
* Previous experience in luxury or high-profile event environments will be considered a strong advantage.

* £60,000 OTE (£35k Basic + £25k Commission).
