As a Mould Technician you will responsible for the work schedule for the Moulding Department and also provide technical and team support / direction to Setter. You will also be tasked to set up and process injection moulding orders. What you'll do: Manage shift schedules and oversee work assignments, training, breaks, overtime, and rotation for Setters and Material Handlers. Be the primary contact for technical issues and provide immediate support. Observe and guide technical performance of employees. Conduct employee reviews and support the appraisal process. Lead or support team meetings and address safety issues promptly. Recommend and implement process improvements. Cover for Production Team Leaders when necessary. Install and operate aluminium injection moulds, ensuring specifications are met. Troubleshoot and maintain machinery. Adhere to safety and quality standards, maintaining a clean work area. Engage in Total Productive Maintenance and continuously seek to improve processes. Follow all company policies and perform additional tasks as needed. What it takes: Highly technically competent within Injection Moulding. Clear communicator with diverse individuals. Strong organisational skills. Essential experience in plastics manufacturing setups. Team Leader experience is advantageous. Capability to be licensed for material handling equipment is beneficial. Proficient with hand-held and stationary power tools. Safe handling of sharp and heavy objects. Skilled in using measuring instruments. Proficient with computers, calculators, English literacy, and basic math. Effective in fast-paced, team-oriented environments. Punctual with good attendance record. Able to follow instructions, with strong communication and attention to detail.
